Customer Property
The organization shall exercise care with customer property while it is under the organization’s control or being used by the organization. In case the process is out sourced, the customer property is processed under the guidance of the organization, & the responsibility for preservation, Safe keeping & Handling is of the organization. The organization shall identify, verify, protect & safeguard customer property provided for use or incorporation into the product / service. If any customer property is lost, damaged or otherwise found to be unsuitable for use, this shall be reported to the customer & records maintained.
Preservation of Product
The organization preserves the conformity of product during internal processing & delivery to the intended destination/customer. The responsibility of preservation including identification, handling & storage is of the supplier when the product is in his premises for processing or other wise & it is specified / communicated to him in the work order.
Monitoring & measuring equipment
The organization shall determine the monitoring & measurement to be undertaken & the monitoring & measuring equipment needed to provide evidence of conformity of product / service to determined requirements. In case the process is out sourced, the monitoring & measuring equipment calibration reports are monitored for adequacy & traceability to NABL or NPL. The use of calibrated measuring equipment is ensured on vessel when under Technical management. The organization shall establish processes to ensure that monitoring & measurement can be carried out & are carried out in a manner that is consistent with the monitoring & measurement requirements.
Policy
Complying with Flag & Port State legislations & other requirements, as applicable, in respect of the Environment & those applicable to the Quality aspects of the Division & services. Identifying all relevant hazards to Safety, Health & Security, assessing the risks & establishing safeguards against all identified hazards, threats & risks. Understanding & meeting the needs & requirements of customers & striving to meet their expectations. Improving the operational, technical & commercial performance of the Division & vessels. Preventing accidents, illnesses, damages,losses & deficiencies in the Division & services.
